Green Party of California
Register to Vote as a Green:
If you want to vote in an election - whether for city council, school board, governor, or president - you need to register to vote first.
Voter registration forms are conveniently located at US post offices, California Department of Motor Vehicles and other governmental offices. Forms can also be mailed to you, or dowloaded from the web.
Why you should register Green:
Registering Green is a way of 'voting' for the kind of world you want. Join a party which stands for your values, instead of one that is the 'lesser of evils' .
Registering Green makes a clear and effective political statement. The more people who register Green, the stronger the Green Party will be, and the more all parties will take green issues and green voters seriously.
Registering Green does not limit your voting options in the general election. Since you can vote for any candidate, choosing a party is really about what you believe in.
The Green Party of California was founded in 1990 and achieved ballot status in 1992. Today, over 140,000 Californians are registered to vote as Green Party members. Please join them.
