VIDEO: Feinstein Urges Rescinsion of Council Approval of Bergamot Transit Village Project

Posted on Latest News by Michael Feinstein · April 22, 2014 11:59 PM

On March 11, 2014 Santa Monica residents handed in 15,512 referendum signatures against the 765,095 sq. foot Bergamot Transit Village project approved by the City Council. On April 24 the Council received official notice that the referendum qualified for the ballot. On  May 13, the Council will decide whether to rescind their approval, or put it on the ballot. Former Mayor Michael Feinstein urges City Council to rescind approval of the project, and against a special election if the Council chooses to place it on the ballot.
