Please join me Tuesday evening, June 17 for the announcement of my candidacy for Santa Monica City Council.

I will gather in front of City Hall at 5pm, then at 5:30, walk across Main Street into Tongva Park.

There I will hold a 5:45 press conference on Gathering Hill to announce my candidacy.

The press conference will be followed by a community dinner at the picnic area next to the Moreton Bay Fig, that I will host.

At 8pm, we'll move to an after-party at historic Chez Jay's, which is immediately adjacent to Tongva Park along Ocean Ave.

I look forward to seeing you there Tuesday.

Food: Hosted dinner will be vegetarian. Please feel free to bring/pot-luck your own meal as well.  Please consider our City's goal of holding zero waste events, and feel welcome to bring your own silverware and drinking container. A drinking fountain is nearby the picnic area on the Main St. edge of the park. 

Big Blue Bus: The #2, 4, 8, 9 bus lines all pass directly in front of City Hall, while the #1,3,5 and 7 will get you within a few blocks
Cycling: There is ample bicycle parking on the east and west edges of Tongva Park, as well as in front of City Hall
Parking: Two parking structures are nearby - at Santa Monica Place and in the Civic Center behind the County Court building.
