Feinstein Urges Rescinsion of Council Approval of Bergamot Transit Village Project and against a special election

On March 11, Santa Monica residents handed in 15,512 referendum signatures against the 765,095 sq. foot Bergamot Transit Village project approved by the City Council. On May 13, the Council will decide whether to rescind their approval, or put it on the ballot. Former Mayor Michael Feinstein cautions the Council against calling a special election and urges them to rescind their approval.
